Franklin County Ohio buys Nationwide Arena for $50 million

The State of Ohio approved a $10 million loan to Franklin County to help facilitate the purchase of 18,000 seat Nationwide Arena from Nationwide Insurance and the Columbus Dispatch. The loan will be repaid with proceeds from the new casino on the Columbus west side.
