2015 NAIAS Detroit Auto Show

I always start the year off with one of my annual out of town trips up north to Detroit for the NAIAS (Detroit Auto Show). As we’ve all been hearing, lots happening in Detroit these days and it’s becoming obvious in downtown if you look around a bit. There’s new net lease retail and restaurants popping up all over. These beautiful art deco high rises are being restored and sold off as high end condos or rented as apartments. Cobo Hall now extends to the river. The car show was attended by 215,000 opening day. I did my best with the pictures in this video to weave or duck around them, but despite my best efforts you can see that it was crowded.
