Big Plans for Discovery District and Columbus State Community College

David Harrison, CSCC president, unveiled big plans to a group of 150 Columbus area government and civic leaders this morning detailing a massive rebuilding of the campus, which would hugely benefit the Discover District and of course Columbus State Community College.

While the project is still in the early stages, and no funding has yet to be secured for the project, I have little doubt that something big is coming. When underway the project will draw more residential and following that will be more met lease retail. There’s lots of opportunity downtown and the market is far from saturated. In fact, I believe the Columbus central business district will be the next hot area for development in Columbus and Central Ohio and will offer many opportunities for Columbus commercial real estate for sale and lease.
