Foreclosures Drop – Lowest Since 2007

The NAR trade publication, Realtor Mag, reports that foreclosures have dropped for the 10^th consecutive month and are now at the lowest level since November, 2010.

In July 2011, 212,764 homes received a foreclosure filing, and that’s down 35% from July 2010. NODs have also dropped to 60,000 so that portends well for the future IF we don’t fall into a double dip recession. After the last couple of weeks, all bets are off when it come to that.
