Santa Monica attracts more multifamily commercial Real Estate to areas north of the Expo Line.

Two brand new Santa Monica apartment complexes are slated to be built north of the Expo Line. One 49-unit complex is already under construction at Broadway and Cloverfield. Five units will ‘affordable’ rents and the rest market rate.

The second complex due to go under construction soon will be located at Santa Monica and Yale and will be 46 units with four affordable.

Both complexes are designed by Tighe Architects and developed by LaTerra Development and feature amenities such as gyms and rooftops decks

Santa Monica commercial realtors, we’re going to get another 10,000 square feet of ground floor, triple net retail space to lease up along Santa Monica Blvd as part of the Yale and Santa Monica complex. Not likely that there will be any 1031 upleg opportunities here in the foreseeable future.
