73 Story InterContinental Hotel Rising in Los Angeles.
What will be the tallest hotel in the west is currently under construction in place of the Wilshire Grand that was built in 1952. Developers Hanjin and Korean Air are building the 900 room 73 story hotel, which will be part of Inter-Continental’s luxury brand and is expected to have at least a four star rating.
There will be a sky lobby on the 70th floor complete with an elaborate roof top pool, which should provide quite a thrill when the big 8.0 strikes.
First few floors will be street level net leased Los Angeles retail and then office.
Wonder if they’re still going to name it the Wilshire Grand?
