New Albany Panera is the 34th for Central Ohio

Warren Ohio based Covelli Enterprises has just opened their 34th Central Ohio Panera at 5547 New Albany Road in New Albany . It’s the second of seven planned Columbus area net leased restaurant openings for Central Ohio in 2014. The first this year was in the old Clarmont in German Village.

The New Albany location will have a drive through, which will be included in more Paneras in the future.

Covelli owns and operates 250 Paneras in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Florida and Canada. If I’m not mistaken, Covelli is the largest Panera franchisee.

The Columbus, triple net leased, fast casual restaurant market is still hot, limited only by space availability. We need more net leased space as there are many other fast casual restaurant concepts that would like to enter the central Ohio market.
