2016 Democratic National Convention – Philadelphia

We lose another one. Not a big surprise given the lack of high end, full service hotel rooms around the ugly Columbus Convention Center.

We get to the top two on the GOP side and top three on DNC and lose both.

Nationwide Arena could easily have been used for the convention itself, but we need thousands of hotel rooms in the downtown north / Arena District. We need a 1,000+ room mega hotel.

Are we going to continue on where the Arnold Classic is the largest single ‘gathering’ we can attract to Columbus?

There’s plenty of time until the 2020 conventions and one would think we could fix this by then?
