Downtown Columbus Strategic Plan Development update

In addition to the much discussed teardown and redevelopment of the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium into an exhibit, museum and open-air amphitheater, the 33 acre greenway park along the Scioto has also been approved by the downtown commission.

Both of the ideas were part of a plan adopted by the city in 2010. In fact, most of the 12 recommendations in the 2010 Downtown Columbus Strategic Plan are coming together.

Plus there’s much more going on regarding new public places in downtown.
